After the Wildfire
Well, this week started with the glitch where some people couldn’t get into the challenge. At first, I couldn’t either, but when I saw that my game was “fixed”, I started playing. After getting 67 stars, NG reset the challenge and I was back at 0!? That’s probably why my B Team (1000K) is ahead of 10K right now!
This is the week of Burning & Spikey (Winslow) Walkers! Remember Burning is a state, not a special Walker, so Dwight doesn’t help against the burning ones, but will help against Spikey. Read on to see my tips and walkthroughs!
For this challenge, there is a gate and a shipping container door that needs to be closed. One normal Walker comes through each open door, each turn. Both doors take 2 turns to close. After closing the gate, a Spikey and a group of Normal Walkers will spawn. After you kill Spikey, you can use this mission to farm XP! You need to have patience because only one Walker spawns at a time from the shipping container. Have patience because the 100 kills will get you about 50K XP!

When I did the first walkthrough for this mission, I used a Hunter, Scout, and Assault Survivor. This did work, as you can see in the following walkthrough.
After thinking about it, I came up with a better approach, using a melee team. There are 3 crates (one is the back of a car) that have to be opened. After you open the second crate, 2 Walkers will immediately spawn behind you. Make sure you save a turn with your other survivors to take them out. After the turn ends, a Fatty (Tank) will spawn from the tent.

Like the Abandoned Camp, my first approach was to use a Hunter, Scout, and Assault Survivor. You can see that approach in the following walkthrough.
This mission has seven crates that you have to open to find the 3 locks to open the exit. During each turn, 1 or 2 Walkers spawn from the far right side of the field. There is a threat counter that has Walkers spawn all over the field.
After playing it a few time, I decided that using a Melee team was a better option. The Scout I used has Threat Reduction, so killing the individual Walkers can get the Threat Counter to zero.

The walkthrough with the melee team:
This is a run to the exit mission, but it isn’t a typical run to the exit mission, due to the burning Walkers. Melee survivors will get injured by the fire on the burning Walkers, so you must use a ranged weapons team. There is a threat counter, so you have to watch for spawning Walkers once it reaches 0. Based upon the name, expect blind spots, so be patient with your moves or you will find hiding Walkers!

This is the walkthrough for this mission:
This is the kill them all mission in this challenge. It contains burning Walkers, a Spikey Walker, and Assualt or Fatty Walkers at higher levels. There are many blind spots, so you must use patience.
I used the ranged weapon team shown below.
Secret Factory walkthrough:
While opening up a gate (6 turns to open) you need to fight off 2 Spikey (Winslow) and an army of Normal Walkers. This mission is a great place to farm XP! Make sure you kill your 100 Walkers after you open the gate.

If you farm the XP, you will end up with around 50K XP at 100 kills!
